How we handle your information.

Hostello (hostello.pro) is a short-term rental co-hosting and property management company based in Islamabad, Pakistan. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Guests: name, phone number, booking dates, number of guests, payment confirmations and, where the law or the property requires it, identity details for check-in.
• Property owners: name, contact details, property details and the information needed to pay out earnings.
• People who message us (WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, our website form or after clicking one of our ads): your name or profile name, number, and what you write to us.
• Website visitors: what you submit through our contact form. Our hosting provider may keep standard technical logs.

How we use it

• To answer enquiries, take and manage bookings, and look after guests during their stay.
• To manage owners' properties, report results and pay out earnings.
• To run and measure our own advertising on Facebook and Instagram (Meta). We see results in summary, such as reach, clicks and the number of conversations started, not private profile data.

Our internal tools and Meta

Hostello uses its own internal software, including a Meta app, to publish posts to Hostello's own Facebook Page and Instagram accounts and to read and manage Hostello's own ad accounts. This app is used only by the Hostello team, for Hostello's own accounts. It does not collect data from other Facebook or Instagram users, and we do not sell or share any data obtained through it.

Who we share it with

We share only what is needed to provide the service: with the property owner or on-site staff for your booking, with booking platforms such as Airbnb and Booking.com when you book through them, and with authorities when the law requires it. We do not sell personal information.

How long we keep it

We keep booking and payment records for as long as we need them for accounting and legal reasons, and other messages only as long as they are useful for the enquiry or booking.

Your choices and data deletion

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing info@hostello.pro or messaging us on WhatsApp at +92 308 0036644. We will reply within 30 days. If you connected with us through Facebook or Instagram, you can also remove our access in your Facebook settings under Apps and Websites.
